I binged this entire novel instead of studying for exams

This novel was insanely hilarious, especially later on when the MC's and ML's true identities get revealed. MC is an insanely hard-working craftsman, a shameless conman, and... a complete and utter willing slave to his cat Shifu.

And as Winter's recommendation said... the absolute cutest part was in the extras, where MC and ML ascend to the heavens and find out that the Immortal Realm is peaceful, warm, and funny (featuring a kindergarten for all these millennia-old "baby immortals").

Honestly, the best part was getting to know that the ML's sect is actually... entirely composed of spiritual beasts transformed into human form.
Just in general...After recently reading a crapton of Danmei with flat and dull side characters, I really appreciate the diversity, humor, and colorfulness of this author's side characters.
