So i just saw the novel "F" on my main release page and clicked on it. Thought it was a normal old romance novel with reincarnation and stuff. The picture has a girl in the hands of a guy, the summary talks about him wanting to fight alongside her and so on. All is normal until I looked in the genre section and choked on my water staring with eyes wide open at the three tags - Adventure, Fantasy, and Shoujo - with no "Romance" genre included. Kinda interested in a novel that has everything a romance novel has...without romance (or it could just be a simple mistake that someone forgot to add that genre tag in)
You know the title of your post can be taken in an entirely different way. You're right though, a shoujo without romance is weird, it is like a shounen without action.
Did it have a harem tag that would explain it. You cant have romance with people who exist only to be collected for the harem mon team
