I want fanfictions of things that I actually know about. There’s so many Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Dragon Ball, Fate etc. kinds of fanfiction, but the thing is... I HAVEN’T EVER SEEN THOSE! (okay, only a bit). I would really like to get into reading fanfictions, but a lot of them are of popular and intimidatingly long series that I haven’t seen. There are also world-hopping series that have too much. I would really like a really good intro fanfiction about a series I actually am familiar with. Overlord, Mahouka, One Punch Man, No Game No Life, My Hero Academia, Fullmetal Alchemist, Seven Deadly Sins, Sword Art Online, A Certain Magical Index, Re: Zero, DanMachi, Charlotte, etc. There’s still quite a few (just ask me if I know a series) especially most male MC harem anime (I went through a phase k). I’d really appreciate likable MCs so no losery-perverts MCs, weak cowards, lustful womenizers, stuck-up, etc. Nothing sad or tragic either. I’d like a really likable OP MC. Thanks.

Filter by most favs, select all ratings, choose word count or completed. You should watch the big 4 though, you don't have to watch it all. Totally skip Naruto fillers...there's literally 100 episodes of that, except for that Kakashi mask one, that's gold. Watch Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, GT is alright but you can skip it. DB Super is crap so don't watch that, and One Piece is only good up to the Fishman Island - about 600eps so you can stop watching then. Bleach is only good up until Aizen gets sealed so that saves you I dunno a lot of eps not worth watching. About the movies, I think they all suck almost, people would recommend you The Strong World from One Piece and others like that but it's pretty meh. The only good ones would be like Bardock from DBZ. There's your homework, I know it's still hours and hours of binging to do, but I cut it short for you as much as possible.
Good luck finding those 100 that aren't trash or not interesting to you or dropped(though some dropped fics are still worth reading), or in an uber slow upate speed like 1 year one chapter.

When I search I just choose novel/Anime name and atleast one character Now if you want to read what is perceived as best fan fiction of the respective series then select to sort by reviews or sort by like/followers. Also if it annoys you to read incomplete story , you can also choose the status as complete. Also you can set your minimum length for story while searching to avoid stories that has barely begun. But still .. its a task and you may miss few gems ..

Dude I know how to filter.. It will take away a bit sure,but almost none in the first two pages which are all that matter actually, you probably don't wanna read anything from the 3rd page onwards. Trust me, I tried, it just gets worse and worse, unless you find that one forgotten gem.
Since you were looking for Male MC, i suggest to try fate and dxd section. That was the least place you find yaoi, female OC, or female—oriented fic and had quite number of fic.
