fans of Hu Ge

So i was just scrolling through some chinese dramas and noticed Hu Ge on the cover.
Had no idea he was back from america, he was studying on becoming a director but now he's got the main role of a drama called "Game of Hunting".
Summary: A man facing many failures and regrets but persists for his once shattered dreams and ideals.

Only found 1 translated chap since the air date was today, different from what i normally watch but the acting is very well done. Though it is somewhat dark and brings the audience to a moral gray zone.

Hu Ge aims for NTR

 

Hu Ge could play the role of a guy who murders children and I'd be okay with it. It's Hu Ge.

 

Can't say i'm a fan since i've only watched one of his works. But mei changsu was great.

 

i think "Game of Hunting" was already done filming but was shelved/delayed for various reason
at least according to a youtuber i follow if i remember correctly that is

so even though it is just coming out it is not him being back?

just saying what i remember, memory is fuzzy mostly

Indeed, his role of Mei Changsu was excellent and "The Disguiser" was around the same level.

Is that supposed to be a pun on his surname of "Hu"?

Basically, I watch anything he is on, finding subtitles has been difficult. Seen a few that were incomplete due to lack of subs

He was a big star thanks to Chinese Paladin but his modern dramas flopped and then he did Nirvana on Fire and got back his popularity

Fun note, in the beginning Eddie Peng and Wallace Huo were playing second fiddle to Hu Ge, now both can be considered bigger stars until Nirvana on Fire

 

Ahh I'm sort of new to Hu Ge as I only have seen him in Nirvana in Fire Drama, and really like his acting in the drama. He's very handsome too >///<

But is rather interested in that new drama he's in Game of Hunting. However I'll wait a bit more until episodes come out since I'm terrible at waiting and rather binge watch. >.<"
