I was looking at the recommendations Amazon sent to me and like this one, and wanted to share: A Keeper's Tale: The Story of Tomkin and the Dragon (English Edition) eBook Kindle Tomkin Thornhewn, youngest son of the Duke of Marshwell, has a problem: he’s not heroic. Regardless of his aspirations, the bookish, untrained young man is better suited to recording the deeds of heroes than being one himself. Which becomes an obvious problem when he finds himself clinging to a ledge above a sleeping dragon. And instead of wielding his family’s great sword with valor and skill, he drops it—onto the dragon. The problem grows immeasurably worse when Tomkin himself falls off the ledge—also onto the dragon. And his problem reaches its peak when Tomkin, after being captured, discovers a maiden locked in a tower. But this is no sweet damsel. Not only does she refuse to be rescued, she refuses to even admit she’s in distress. It’s too bad for the people of Marshwell that Tomkin is the only thing standing - or falling - in the dragon’s way. https://www.amazon.com.br/gp/product/B01NBE5B53 There you have it.
Yep. This and "The Keeper Chronicles": https://www.amazon.com.br/Keeper-Chronicles-Complete-Fantasy-Trilogy-ebook/dp/B07QN31TDH/ This will be my next reading.
It's a page-turner for me. Read almost 84% of the book (Kindle device, it does this kind of thing) and can't wait for the end. Tomkin's mind cast about for a better plan, but there was nothing. He straightened his shoulders and raised the torch, sending the ceiling shadows scurrying away for cover.
Just finished the book, and started reading the Keeper's Chronicles. I hope the Chronicles are as good as the Tale.
How did I miss a thread involving book recommendations? *slaps self* Thank you for the heads up. I downloaded it and I'll look forward to reading it on my next break.
