Is there some especially good one in the series? I only saw the first 3 when they came out so I don't even remember those.

If you aren't particulary interested in the movie try:
    Fast and furious tokyo drift....
Since doesn't have a plot tied togeter like the other movie....
Otherwise watch them all from begining....

Since the 5th the tone changes and except Hobbs & Shaw they are heist films with a lot of action and cars.

Action scenes are good, but story wise it’s not that bad.

they are all pretty fun in their own right, I really consider 1 and 2 separate from the series because after three which has only vestigial ties to the series everything starts changing a lot but 5,6,and 7 were my favorites. now, I haven't seen Hobbs and Shaw yet but it looks interesting considering they are completely pulling away from the car heist genre that 1 and 2 definitely were and all the rest just kinda, pretend to be.

edit: forgot to answer your question, sorry.

if you want one to start on and don't care about the story I would say 3, because its a completely different main character and its story is self-contained to one movie.

Just watched Fast Five and damn it's fun, I mean it's cheap as hell.. but fun. City destroying vault lol, Vin Diesel is cool ofc and I love the matchings.

Edit: watched 6 and 7. Damn the main character Brian is a bad actor, also the fuck is with the happy endings and no blood in the fights but they killed off Giselle and Han...

Edit2: watched 8 why the fuck is everyone fine with Derrick Shaw being on the team except for Higgs in the beginning? He killed Han and tried to kill the rest of them, 'member?

If you aren't invested in them as a series, then my recommendation is Hobbs and Shaw. It was frickin' hilarious when they were busting each other's balls. Every scene Ryan Reynolds was in was perfect. The cheesiness was just right, like a freshly cooked pizza, and the stunts, while ridiculous to the point of being hilarious, were fun to watch. It works as a stand alone as long as you go in understanding that one is a law abiding cop and the other is...less law abiding and has history with a gang.

Just rewatched the first one. What a nonsencal origin story lol, at least the other movies are plain fun. Brian not only acted bad(as always) but he also seemed like a goofy teen instead of an undercover cop. Loses a car and smiles like a goof, the guy would lose at poker to a 10 year old girl.
