I think that NU would benefit incentivizing rating and reviews by allowing people who are trusted and active members of the NU community that actually rate and review novels that theyve read to have featured lists. Some proposed rules for this: 1. The person who has made the list must have reviewed at least 25 novels. 2. All novels on the list must have a review by the user. 3. User must apply for their list to be featured on NUF and then have their list and reviews reviewed by either the community or the mods. Pros: More reviews and ratings that are hopefully accurate or at least bring a more balanced viewpoint to novels; More community interaction; Ties NUF and NU together a little bit more Cons: Increased workload on Mods/Community; Dunno how this can be programmed or such (basically unsure of how viable this is for Tony to implement)
Why not just check out the other reviews written by a reviewer? It seems to serve the same purpose as it shows which novels the reviewer has reviewed. Just find someone who seems to write a lot in their reviews, and it's likely that reviewer has also written reviews on other novels.
