Hello, I would like to filter a specific set of novels that are primarily focused on Romance but have very little tags/genres that I can use to stop them from appearing in my home page without also filtering out novels I tend to enjoy. Any ideas on how to do so? I've been doing it manually for each one so far but new ones seem to pop up every few days. Examples: Abused Female Lead The Female Lead Has No Cheats Travel Through Time and Become His Stupid Ex-wife Or many of the novels with "Female", "Wife", "Miss", "Villainess", "Husband" or whatever in their title. Many of the novels I liked share the same genres and tags. At this point I'm probably just going to blacklist Female Protagonist and just deal with not finding new good novels with that tag to be done with it all.
3 easy steps 1. Make a new reading list. 2. Hide said list from main page. 3. Put any unwanted novel in said list.
Well if you want to avoid toxic novels you can exclude some tags like: Rape Rape victims become lovers Abusive characters Child abuse Sexual abuse Blackmail Forced marriage Etc etc etc
In my post I already said I'm filtering out novels manually which was through the reading list. I'm not looking to filter out "toxic" novels specifically but an automatic way to filter out ones that have very few tags/genres that are romance focused. Please check out the novels I gave out as examples to see what I mean.
Must have skipped that part. As for your problem: Unless the novels that you want to avoid have a unique tag (that other novels you enjoy don't), filtering them out automatically would be impossible, simply because the program would need to know your exact preferences to do so. My advice is to throw every new novel in a reading list called "later", "new", "Jun 20", etc. which you hide from the main page. That way you can look through them when you have time and sort them collectively instead of one at a time.
I'll give that a try, hopefully this works out for me or I'll end up just using the sledgehammer approach of filtering out female protagonist novels entirely.
