Hey fellow NUF members, I’m new to this but I hope that you can help me with something. I’m looking for a anime that could be possibly a 1990’s anime. The thing is that my friend was trying to find this anime but with no avail and I’m also trying to find it at the moment. Tbh i don’t even know if I’m on the right track but what i know on the details is that there is this main male lead that goes to this arcade to play this certain game. He wears this suits and I think a robot comes to action? He was undefeated in this game until a girl comes along and defeated him. Which made him follow to this girl’s high school and ask for a rematch. I don’t know if its a stereo type anime but the hints that my friend gave me was, back then the anime was using floppy disk, the animation style is similar to Ghost in a Shell, the main male lead said to the girl that if he wins, she should be his girlfriend, when the girl was young she was defeated by the main male lead then when she grows up she defeated him but the thing is they didn’t know anything about it. Sorry if its confusing, I’m also having a hard time finding what kind of anime it is. Although I’m sorry to trouble you with this, thanks for helping me!
do you remember the channel where you or your friend watched it? it would make it easier to search with that date and the channel.
Only thing I know that sounds the same to me is Infinite Stratos, but I know that it isn't what you are looking for. Sorry. Any more info would help.
My only suggestion is to go through the long list of Kiss Anime, as they have tons of old school stuff and checkout the art work and discription of it in order to find it.
