For WN it's "Tale of Demons and Gods". I remember reading it in wuxiaworld after i got addicted reading it's manhua.

For LN it's "Highschool DxD" (I swear i read it for the story). I remember reading it on Baka-Tsuki after i watched the first season long ago. Sad that now baka-tsuki is basically dead.

Probably the Tsukihime Visual Novel, or The Melancholy of Suzmiya Haruhi, or Zero no Tsukaima. It could even be before these novels. I just remember it was long ago and it was easier to get text with dial-up than trying to watch an anime online.

    Coraline by Neil Gaiman

i actually forget the name, it was the one with the button eyes, they have a stop motion movie too. I never know it was a horror kind of novel. it peaked my interest with whole entering another dimension kind of story

Mine was Ai no Kusabi in the early 2000s. I didn't even know what a light-novel is. But I liked this one a lot. I like it even now. :)
