I just read ch 43 and I must say it is new. The "I must become strong to survive greedy people" cliche is, well, cliche. But usually it happens after you are attacked...it's the first time I've seen it happen because the MC fails to murder someone.

I don't think they will continue much because I think it is done so that MC can get the fighting technique.

The protagonist of God and Devil World is many times worse , at 1 point the racism got so bad I just dropped the novel mid-chapter.
If I remember correctly at 1 point they called them 'foreign ***** that stain our country' and then he went on a rampage killing them all for no reason , atleast I didn't see a reason.
But yea in some novels if the author needs an easy scapegoat or mob villain they use Japanese people.
pretty pointless in my opinion.

I read CN novel for faceslapping generally, unless the author breaks the norm and create sth original that I enjoy.
