This guy in Turkey changed his couch to a paraglider, added a TV, battery and a lamp to it. Then started eating potato chips, drink beer, and watch a Tom & Jerry episode while flying with NO belt or safety line thousands of feet in the air... GO TO 1:28 This dude has the biggest guts i have ever thought possible.... ONE strong wind or ONE wrong move and he dies.
Not bad actually. Just opened the window in my room and was doused in a gush of strong southern wind. It always give you a strong pleasant feeling when wind caresses your body. And it’s cool to watch little people running around. Though I prefer lesser degree of risk XD
Watching that video I thought to myself "what if I was in his place ?" Spoiler: I realized three things First, I have Acrophobia so that would be bad for me Second, I would be worried that one of the slippers might fall off leaving one foot bare and that would probably make my Acrophobia worse Third, I will need another cartoon, not just Tom&Jerry, I need something to make me forget about loosing the slippers I wonder if anyone else got the same thoughts? and yes that guy is awesome
I don't see Tom and Jerry on the TV? I see the still image at the end of the video, but it just looks blank during the flight.
He turns on the TV on 2:23, the sound is a little hard to distinguish due to the wind, but once he lands, if one has seen tom & jerry episodes, they will recognize the sounds.
Well, I understand your point to each their preferences after all, you are @Westeller the Wise Deepsea Mermaid, only a flying mermaid wispehirng words of wisdom on a couch above somewhere in the west land would catch your interest, right?, quite the peculiar taste you got there
I'm pretty certain it's fake unless selfie sticks are motion stabilized. That high up where there are supposed to be strong winds and a top-heavy selfie stick isn't swaying like a drunk squirrel? Basically, I think he's on top of a green screen with a strong fan blowing from behind the TV. I present other proof including: - The center of balance is very off. If he were truly in the air, he would be pitching forward because the TV makes the setup front-heavy and the straps are not positioned properly to account for this. I.e. He'd soon be dangling from the TV if physics were realistic. - The lighting direction on the selfie stick is very weird. - If you consider how cameras work, the distant background should not have the same clarity as the dude sitting on the couch. Camera focus doesn't work that way. - When he lands, the people in the background aren't paying attention? I know I'd be running over to have a closer look... It's fun to watch, but it's movie magic more than some guy taking para-flying to the next level. I.e. he was in no danger whatsoever.
Its not fake. Ye did it and there are videos of others filmijg him flying around. Its also on the news. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.tmz.com/2020/07/04/man-paraglides-couch-tv-turkey-hasan-kaval/
Your link is light on the specifics. I'm pretty certain they just saw the video and wrote a story without fact checking it. I'd like to request those supposed videos of the others filming him because, again, something seems screwy with the physics. Unless he's flying by magic?
