I'm salty because I had to ask you more than once to stay on topic. I'm not your mother. Atletico hasn't been too bad recently. They've been moving towards equal tv rights too which will help the league a lot. It's not going to fix things overnight, but it's certainly a step in the right direction. Strength is still incredibly important in football, especially in leagues like the Premier League. Many players in Spain/Italy etc. do not want to go to England because it's a physical game. You will get pushed off the ball. You will get pushed out in the box. Yes, there is a place for pace of course, but saying that strength is irrelevant is not very accurate. It's easy to say 1 billion dollar deal, but no-one knows the specifics of any contract or what kind of rights they contain. I'm not even going to bother to look, if you look at top paid sports players on the net somewhere I'd argue both ronaldo and messi make more than lebron. Some aren't though.
Weak, weak, weak, not real man's sport etc... Provide some examples, reasoning, evidence, or an alternative please instead of playing like a broken record.
Lebron has to be up there. But to be fair, I agree with you, messi and ronaldo make a lot of money. It is amazing just much they pay those two. Is like 50~ mil euros a year? It has to be something ridiculous like that.
Contracts, at that level, can be very complicated things. Shirt sales, image rights, resulting sponsorships. Some sponsors can have clauses that the contracts are terminated if certain players leave etc. There is a lot of things that go on behind the contract. The club can also make a lot of money in return.
I dont see why soccer is as popular as it is. Almost all they do the entire game is run around passing the ball around. In a sport like rugby, mma, boxing, stuff happens and it is much more intense.
Makes sense. When you are that popular people come to watch you play, not your team, they buy your jeserys, your shoes and all that jazz. Man I am jelly just thinking how much money these guys make. Is this serious?
Wow.Now I didn't like Ronaldo but I didn't knew Messi was that much of ass.He might be the top now but I think with this he lost any respect I had in past for him. Football is the king sport. But rugby falls into same category chasing a ball but headbutting the enemy at same time. Boxing. Not that much up there as a fighting sport. Not intense at all.Using only your hands is dumb, not to mention the gloves. I don't watch MMA so I got nothing to say about it.
Boxing is a nice sport. But I like football alot. It was the first sport I was ever into. It holds a special place in my heart.
I also thought that boxing was something amazing. But few years ago one of my friends went to Thailand for like 1-2 months. When he came back he showed me some videos he recorded there.About 3 were Muay Thai matches. That's one brutal sport,.Limiting yourself only to hands is like i said worthless.
Muay Thai is fucking crazy man. Holy shit man like if someone told me they practiced mauy Thai, I would back the fuck off. I like living.
yeah that's Muay Thai. Boxing still has some merit to watch. I've watched the rocky movies way to many times
Ikr.In most fighting sports elbow techniques are banned w/o paddings. In Muay Thai those are still allowed in some circuits.Lets just say that all 3 of those matches ended really bloody really fast.A well placed knee or elbow combo can cripple you for life. Aikido is interesting too, less violent than other throwing fighting styles but the most impressive for me. Stallone is OP be it football or box.The sports not my favorites anymore.
