    Not a masterpiece but definitely among the better martial arts novels.
    The power structure is extremely clear.
    Fights are extremely entertaining, hype enough to be enjoyed without giving readers heart attack.

    Is it written like you're following someone play a videogame? So far I don't think I've encountered any chinese webnovel with a fantasy setting that doesn't give this vibe. (not saying they don't exist, but it seems really common with the popular recommended stuff on this site)

    I've tried it and it's fine. Lots of time skips and the protagonist reaches the high realms pretty quickly. It's enjoyable if you want a fast-paced cultivation novel.
