Okay, so I can't remember the title of this one manga. The manga is about a young woman (the protagonist) who works at a company. She used to have a romantic relationship with a co-worker who later becomes her boss. Anyway, so he asked her to meet him someplace, to which she said sure because she didn't know what to do. So she comes, and apparently the ex was being a stick and is showing off his fiancee. The protagonist starts to think things and stuff. She leaves. Later, she goes back home to her apartment and goes to buy some beer from a convenience store. On the way home, she sees a young girl playing dribbling a soccerball. Upon closer look, she realizes it's a boy. She then notices things: his frail and weak-looking body, his clothes that look too small for him, and him playing alone in the playground when it's already dark out; it's pretty obvious he has neglective parents. She, reflecting on her own past, talks to the boy surprisingly, and helps him practice soccer herself, being a futsal player during her school years. And yeah, she soon becomes an important figure in his life and supports him in place of his own parents. I'm not sure about the relationship between those two. I think the protagonist has an undefined feeling towards the boy which may or may not be romantic. Also, the last time I remember this manga had like, less than 5 chapters. It was pretty deep, I mean, she was conflicting over herself in general and it had topics about parental negligence, peer pressure and stuff. It's weird how I'm oddly specific yet I can't remember the title no matter how hard I try lol. And sorry if this is long, I assume the more details there are, the more accurate it can be. Also, apparently this post was moved to manga discussion for some reason. Anyway, thank you in advance.
Dude, like i don't blame you for forgetting the title of the manga. Some Japanese manga has very long name that might/might not make sense in English.
I'm not sure really, I can't remember the exact art style, but it wasn't like Bonnouji, and it wasn't classical shoujo style either, it was fresh and the main character actually looked like someone her age instead of having eyes that took half her face.
That's the one! Thank you so much, you have my gratitude. It's amazing how fast people can solve these kind of problems so quick on this website, thank you.
