Im looking for this movie where a boy and girl(childhood friends) are playing and discovered an ancient tree, the girl was "consumed" or "fused" with the tree for some reason and the guy got this strange power from the tree(think of prototype, except its branches instead of bloody tentacles), now he's been looking for a way to rescue the girl from said tree while growing up. thanks for answers.

Its close but the movie im looking for is live action :3 its kinda apocalyptic with the tree branches and roots taking over the world while the guy was trying to save her. Thanks anyway
ikr :3 i'm having a really hard time looking it up -_- its a really cool movie tbh so i want to watch it :3 then again the trailer i saw could've been just an FF but i saw it on tv so its likely to be a real movie :3
