Role Playing Founder of Cultivation

OoC: sorry I actually have to go get ready. A friend wants to hang out in awhile. (I was busy today when I wasn't supposed to be.) I will have to make things up to you.

 

*In the real world Calm was trying to comfort Ranis. He was flustered, tired and confused. This was a first time he had a person passing out near him. Perhaps waking him up? So Calm though as he shook the passed out shota to no avail. After a moment of silence Calm came to a conclusion that his visitor was half trapped into another Realm, or ratherm inside his own mind. Evon so, Calm had no way of helping him. Thus, he tried to make his visitors stay pleasant. That is, if he didn't pass out in the middle of it.

Dream World

Ranis entered the pine forest. The dense evergreen branches blocked out the light of the blood moon. The inside of the forest was indeed beffiting of a Nightmare. It had many thorns and creepy trees which created eerie sounds with the wind. The smell suddenly appeared. Rotting leaves, animal smell and, of course, Nightmare smell. The wind was cold and seemed slightly evil in nature. There was no other light here aside from the entrance to the forest. Sounds of twigs breaking could be heared, a sensation of something watching. Ranis was being stalked by something*

Ais looked at Alan as he was screaming out their races, looking back up at shopkeeper and assistant.

"What are these boxes?"

 

*Alan sneaked next to Ais and tried to pull her away, only to be blocked by the shop owner who placed himself between the two. Alan's plan was compleatly shut down with a single move. The merchant's smile widend at Ais' question. "My apologies. These boxes are a type of seal. They are a speciality of this shop. Each box is different from the other. The boxes contain sealed travel beasts, also created by the shop. Each beast is different from the other and each beast also has specialization. The beasts can be kept in small forms as pets or kept in their true firms as mounts."*

 

Ais' eyes quickly began sparkling. "What about this one, what does it do?" She began grabbing the boxes she had opened earlier.

 

*The shop keeper happily explained the contents of the various boxes with a wide smile. Alan was desperate. He wanted to find someone to help save his companion. Alas, there was only another petson in the shop, the Earth Spirit. When Alan looked at him with pleading eyes, all he got was a warm smile. Truly evil!

The Dark Elf was too busy helping Ais find her perfect pet/mount.
"This fire box contains a bird creature with a lovely voice. It's feathers are blue and it enjoys warmth. The bird is very affectionate to its owner and will often nuzzle with them. The speed of the bird is ordinary but it can carry much more than any other bird. It also has good eyesight.

The stone box has a type of feline. The feline has very soft fur and a big build. Children are quite fond of it. It's speed is great and it possess great combat power." After explaining a dozen more, the merchant suddenly added "Oh, and we also offer accessories, equipment, food and manuals on how to take care of your companion"
To this Alan facepalmed. The world was over*

 

Ais’ eyes were gradually growing larger and more sparkly. Not noticing Alan at all, it’s his fault he took her in here after all. Hearing about the accessories she was almost shaking with excitement.

 

*Desperate times call for desperate measures. Alan grabbed Ais by the cuff of her clothes and pulled her back. It wasn't easy to reach that high so he had to jump. Ais bent down backwards in an irregular fashion but Alan didn't care. Once he pulled her far to a satisfactory distance from the shop owner he interrupted the Dark Elf with a forced smile. "I am sorry sir, but we are new here. We don't know the currency or the layout of the place. Can you please help us?"

The reason why Alan was so shocked to see a Dark Elf was becouse he knew that they were doomed once that merchant race got a hold of them. It was best to pull out before you were too deep. This wisdom came from Alan's own experience as a young traveller. He will never forget that wide smile. To this day it sends shivers down his spine.

The shop owner wasn't bothered by what just happened. This set of events appears to be common to him. With a brief chatter he went behind the counter to find his things*

 

Pouting a small bit however began paying attention when Alan asked for the money system.

 

*As the boy waited for the woner to come back, he took this chance to pass on his life experience to Ais, who was basically born yesterday "Now listen here two tail miss. Dark Elf's are honest and good merchants. They will sell everything at a faie price and are often for bargening. Their items can be exchanged for money, items or a mixture of two. If the customer can't pay they will offer a task or a job in exchange. The worker would be treated fairly. They have no bias to any culture, race or religion. They have traveled the world and are an encyclopedia of knowledge." after pointing out the characteristics of Dark Elfs, which wasn't glorfying but the truth, Alan reached for Ais' shoulders, placed his hands on them and looked at her straight in the eyes "But, their merchant sense is OP. They will raise prices when in demand or when the suply is small. They will bait customers by recomending items, then hook and reel them in. It's not like the customer will get scammed, but they will leave with empty pockets. If a Dark Elf is effered a job they can even skyrocket a price of it turns out difficult.' he took in a deep breath to calm his progressivly tembling voice "Ais, never allow yourself to fall into a Dark Elf's hands. They are pure evil!"*

 

Ais who has been thinking that dark elves were nice suddenly realized the danger she was just in. She quickly nodded thanking Alan.

 

*Pleased with succesfully passing on his phobia of sly merchants, Alan acknowledged Ais' nod. The Earth Spirit who was still sitting on a counter didn't seem to be suprised by how Alan reacted. To him it was probably common, which only further proves that merchants are evil. As the shop keepr was taking long to come, the shop was dead silent.*

 

Ais was awkwardly glanced around, not finding anything to settle her gaze on she just looked down.

 

*Perhaps bored out of his mind, the Earth Spirit finally decided to speak. His breath was low and seductive, carrying the the strenght and wildness of the dessert folk "Miss Kitsune. You seem to have only recently formed correct? How has your existance been?" it was a question like any other, but it appeared to have another meaning in it.*

 

Ais spooked for a second quickly responded, “Its been the worst, I was born yesterday and I’ve almost died 3 times.” Ais had a somewhat angry and self pitying smile.

 

*With a simple 'I see' the Earth Spirit resumed his idle ways. Luckily, the shop keeper returned at this moment. He carried an abundance of scrolls of which some opened and hung. There were some strange devices, bags, orbs and even a parrot. He dropped them all onto th counter, smiled at his guests, warped his sweat and spoke "All gathered. Please come and see. Do you have any questions which you want to hear immediatley?"*

 

“What’s the money system and how do we get to the real world!” Ais quickly looked back up and began paying attention again.

 

*The shop keeper put on a pair of reading glasses which he got from god knows where. Pushing them slightly up, he was trying to organise the scrolls and vatious trinkests. The parrot had even started speaking some strange words. "Well then, allow me help. Dream World doesn't use the standard currency as everything here can be created. What is used, however, is a form an extrimly stable and potent Dream Essence. It can't be found in the free parts of the Dream World. The only known sources of it are personal dreams. Lucid Dreamers, people who have become aware that they are dreaming, can use their dreams to produce this Essence. Now, there are plenty of empty plots of land in this World and as such some more skilled Dream Born creatures can create their personal money generator. But even so, every Dream Born creature can easily summon this Dream Essence, but only in limetd qualities per day." after finishing the introduction on money, the Dark Elf shopkeeper started turning pages of an old and dusty book. "Now, there are laws which are regulated by the Fish God, Mr.Black. He will explain the policy of the Dream World. Not only that, but he can also help you reach the real world... now where did i put it.." at the end lf his long speech he started searching for some random scrap of paper*

 

Realizing that Alan probably wouldn’t have any currency she looked over at Alan a slightly smug smile on her face.
