How the hell does K-on refutes Marxism, how the hell did this guy come to the conclusion that the truth or "fun things are fun" collapses Marxism :sweating_profusely::notlikeblob:

I did not read it completely but they are mocking 'fun things are fun' based on something that says a rose is a rose, it is not a beautiful thing, that is a feeling that come out of you when you see the rose, but now you associate it with rose directly. So how can beautiful things be beautiful? When things qre just things.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure they were mocking somebody if not themsleves.

Although I don't have a philosophy degree but what that post basicly comes down to is this:
The Author starts this whole thing by referencing the term of "objective truth" as a core component of Deconstructionalism, Postmodernism and / or Cultural Marxism. He (/She?) states, that for these lines of thought the concept of "objective truth" is abandoned in favor of a consesus based understanding of the term "truth", meaning that something is not true because it is true but instea, d because there is consensus that it is true.
Then a certain line of thought from linguistics is referenced (dunno that one) which basicly states the same but for the meaning and understanding of terms. This boils down to defining the meaning of a certain term based on its relation to other terms.
Finally K-On is stated to be a representation of the closing of this kind of thinking as the statement "Fun things are fun" by Yui is purported to be a statement of "objective truth" instead of truth by consensus.
About that last part in regard to the homo ludens... ask someone else. No Idea.

As a small postskriptum here: The idea of defining meaning from relations suffers from the flaw of being unable to describe its origin, since to start with you would need to set at least one term to have a certain meaning instead of defining its meaning from relations, that at that point do not yet exist.

I don't know whether this helps at all but whatever.
    Have a nice day ;)

I think they are mocking K-on and whoever posted that philosophical paragraph as an interpretation when there isn't one. It's like in literature class when you need to intepret what had the author wanted to say with The sky is blue, hmm perhaps just that the sky is fking blue?

Since there where some people voicing the opinion, that K-On was mocked, here goes: From what I see, it's the exact opposite. Instead of mocking K-On, the author compliments it as collapsing the line of argumentation of Deconstructionism, etc.
Based on the authors coice of words ("At this moment the entire pillar of Cultural Marxism, the entire work of the Frankfurt School, collapses like a castle of cards.") I would much rather assume he (/she?) is opposed to this kind of thinking.

Hope that helps and have a nice day ;)

Didn't watch K-on, but it doesn't seem like anything deep to me, in fact it seems like slice of life comedy or whatever you call it.
