Gakkou Gurashi has come to an end with the scanlation release of the final chapter. I admit, the build up felt like it was leading up to a bad end ending yet author-san really managed to pull the wool over everyone's eyes with the ending. As far as happy endings go in a zombie apocalypse, this one was a pretty happy one. It hits you right in the kokoro, but in a good way and i will admit my eyes did get a little watery as i read the chapter. That's how full of fuzzy feels it was. To those who have been reading it but were stockpiling chapters and those who were considering reading it, i wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a hell of an emotional roller coaster ride but one that will leave you feeling good at the end of it.
I liked the anime a lot. Now that I know there is a completed manga with a satisfying ending I may need to investigate!
The ending felt kinda abrupt the last few chapters but agreed, what a ride it was and I'm glad it ended on a happy note
