Jeez, is anybody disturbed by the latest chap? I def see a matrix like outcome where the robots are persecuted and exploited and come to hate humanity. What happens when source learns how to create new logic chips and decides to make his own underlings?

 

The ancient race used robots with logic chips as well and I don't think that's what chased them away, but who knows. What's the difference between a factory that produces intelligent dark beasts and factory that produces intelligent robots anyway. I imagine that if the robots start developing, something like Geths in ME will happen. They will just travel away from human territories and establish themselves somewhere else. After all ... planets that robots like and humans like are different.
