so.. it says complete/dropped. wtf is that!? is it complete with a decent ending? is it dropped in the middle of something? or is it axed?! really, wtf is (Completed/Dropped) supposed to mean.
It's been dropped. Translator says that it ended abruptly, but that's just another word for dropped with a shitty "insert your own ending here: sorta thing. I just recently tried reading this again after a few months, and now that it's been dropped, i'm not going to bother wasting time reading a half assed ending. As for why it was dropped, the author wanted to get writing on his new novel because he lost interest in this one. What a f'ing joke, author just proved he's just as unreliable as those fan fiction writers that writes a few chapters and then disappears. Total waste of time, for the readers and for the translator. I'm avoiding all of this authors novels from now on, that's if anyone is silly enough to even bother translating any of his work.
and this boys is why people should TL completed or nearly completed (as in ones that aren't done yet but are soon to be done in a proper way based on how the story has been flowing, as opposed to the monstrosity that is TDG), TLing a "new" CN novel (<300 ch raw) is pretty much gambling when you consider these series usually end up being 1-3k chapters long :v even if the beginning is good it could end up as trash. reputable authors is something to look out for too.
Idk man, I liked the story it's just author got bored, TBH I prefer tl of new series as I'll be on the same track as native readers, even tmw was started when the novel was <150
I hate it more when a potentially good novel idea gets ruined than when a shit novel idea stays shit :v even TDG was pretty decent/good at some point....now look where we are now XD
it can, unless the novel is already finished and you know that the author didn't rush through the ending hence my point, translating newer novels is gambling, will the author abandon it? will the author ruin a good idea? who knows, only thing you can do is gamble, especially for authors with little to no reputation (good or bad)
I just read chapter 101 (when Han is mistaken as the Dark King inside the Extinction Grounds) and I read "But Kunlun didn’t know, Han never only had one card in hand. Aside from Void End and the Power of Darkness, Han also has an unparalleled level of toxin resistance!" at the end of chapter 101. But why didn't he know? The poison resistance came from the Dark King's heart, so the Dark King should be equally resistant.
good news on ch 243 for those who didn't notice Spoiler (btw guys, the author didn’t drop GDN. He just finished it with a sudden ending. Dw, I will consult the author when we get there and we will finish it with another ending. You won’t be left hanging.) http://www.noodletowntranslated.com/galactic-dark-net/galactic-dark-net-chapter-243/
Whatever happened to the drug index? I know that it was a long time ago, but it would be nice if Han was still keeping it going despite his adventures. Maybe he has a laptop he props up every now and then to update the index...
Why would he sell his first ever venture into the Dark Net? Surely he'd keep it running simply out of sentimentality.
No, I am 99.99% sure he sold the drug index thing as he didn't have enough time for it, it was mentioned.
Didn't have enough time? With his connects and his brainpower he could easily do the index thing in less than an hour!
it's not worth for him to do the business anymore. He is dealing with things starting from warlord artifacts which cost a ton of money. Also, he has to dedicate time for Beast Training, pharmacy, technology in addition to the path of martial arts and now he is busy with path of all gods. So even if he continues the drug index , the money earned would be negligible or worth nothing to his current expenses. In fact, it became worthless to him way back itself; that's why he sold it earlier itself.
