SOo0o..in novels I read there are humans who play games and recording them (?) they then post it in online platforms lessay yt do u actually have to be good at it (I think u do right) TT I'm crying right now cuz I have trash skills in gaming, mafellow cats are invitin me 2 what do I do? TT
Frankly most youtubers and streamers that play games suck terribly at them, so no you don't have to be good at games. And it's frequently the streamers that have built up a large community that get the most views, while the (typically more boring and stiff) good players have a lot less views. Especially with slower and turn based games Though ofc you'd still need some reason for viewers to be interested in watching, some watch because they want to see someone great at the game playing and they'd watch those kinds of streamers, others just want some entertainment or like the atmosphere etc. It also depends a lot on what kind of game, but for example if it's a single player game with story some would like to watch a stream/video where the streamer is voice acting all the dialogue etc. while others (e.g. me) just want them to skip all the dialogue and see gameplay.
what games do u play? I can tap away in temple run and piano tiles but I really don't know others that are good
I meant cooking, handcrafting, painting, documentations, tuturials, animations, pets, music and more.... You are the real Pervert for thinking I meant other things!
Hey the game streamers don't always depend on how good you play the games, you need to have the capability to keep them attracted with you humour (?) And sense of timing of entertainment. Not as easy as I say though lol
i personally think so i mean , imagine watching a steamer failing the same level\stage again and again would you watch that? but still if you're funny and the public loves your reactions they might like you , like , making your failure entertaining or something also , there are alot of games that don't require much skill and are loved by the public i played some with actuall good stories and it's up to you to attract viewers with comments , jokes ...etc
its always about entertainment personally i watched speedruns, a few starcarft 2 pro matches (i dont even own the game myself) and sometimes someone just fooling around speedruns and pro matches would be mostly about about the dedication someone can put into a game to develop a "mastery" in it - its abit more "interesting" then "entertaining" i almost never wached stuff to get better (what would be your usual pro play mostly commented) and rarely full lets plays to passivly consume a game without buying or even playing it but thats tricky either because good games i might want to play and bad games im not interested in at all
I want to see if there’s an interest in Dirty, Rotten Cheaters. Not just regular cheating, like immortality, or just clearing quests… Like a Sorceress Kensai in BG2 Or self selected perk order in Xcom Enemy Within. Epic cheating, in another words.
