Yes, I could recommend it, it's a satisfying read and MC choose his girls and not wimpy. A bit dark tho
Well... if you like a perverted and practical MC then GDK is worth recommending. Also, be warned... MC is somewhat of an asshat sometimes.
Yes it gets much better, the first 30 chapters had its ups and downs, very cringe but also funny at times.

S'okay. Not great, and the sex/heavy petting reads like it was written by a virgin, but c'est la vie. It's got a little more depth than your typical growth-cheat novel, but ultimately reads and plays out similarly to one. Fantasy fodder.
Definitely, go for it MC is funny, perverted and serious, all at the same time. good balance of light humour and dark tones and actions as well decent character development Magic system is pretty good too, as someone who enjoys necromancy in all it's forms - wont spoil any more than that all in all, one of my favourite reads atm (etvo, more pls)
The early arcs were quite nice. But once the MC holds a significant level of power, it becomes the same as every other xuanhuan.. Ie . Chasing girls, power leveling adventure, offending petty villain, rape by the MC, victims of rape falling in love with the MC, etc2
OH! I forgot to mention that at least for now, girls from his harem ACTUALLY HAVE A PERSONALITY. I mean they are not just some background furniture that helps MC look cool. Only that thing already makes this novel better than 85% of novwls on this site.
I haven't caught up in the last 20 or so chapters but I do say that it is a great read its long enough to be invested in it has thrilling moments and even if the standard bs harem and strength gain to become op not to mention unnecessary secretiveness it does it well enough it's not a huge determining factor of if this story is good enough or not. It's unique in its field. A LLS feel but not as op and the MC does loose out.... though he tends to seem like a maso because pain is apart of his devils way.
what personality..? All the girls looks and act exactly the same way. As in the tsundere thorny girls that easily falls for the MC and becomes dere2 (horny) after.. a carbon cookie cutter of almost all xuanhuan's female trophy girl archtype.
