    Hi!
I am looking to start learning Korean so I can read all the novels I have bookedmarked and to contribute back to this lovely community once my skills are up to par.
    Where did everyone start?
I have recently purchased a "Talk to me in Korean" workbook and a membership but am wondering- if I just want to read Korean, is there a more pointed approach?

Any suggestions or advice would be amazing!

I suggested learning the letters first. Then start learning how the letters can be combined. This is just an advice but it will be better if you learn how to pronounce too since you're learning the language and it will be better if it can be useful in the future.

Btw, I'm using Podo, which helps you how to pronounce and how letters can be combined and Lingory too but you can learn easier if you know the letters and can read them.

As for me, I started learning Korean 2 years ago but I stopped and just learned how to read and it really helps me now when I started learning seriously this time.
