Discussion Girl or Boy child

We can't predict the future, but we can still have hopes.
What do you hope your kids gender to be and why?
There will be many daoist here who would protest by claiming their wizardry rights.
So the question for them is what gender kid you'd adopt and why?
Remember we are talking about single kids only. The population is already skyrocketing, I would advice everyone to plan their family accordingly

Spoiler: My choice

A Girl Child.
Girls mature faster, they are more attached to their families and would support their families even in dire situations (many boys won't), exceptions do exist in both cases.

I don't care about gender, as long as it's not too weird.

A boy because if it was a girl, i would want to kill every men who are coming near her, and it would be quite a pain in the ass

You know us so well, honestly both have their benefits if I had a girl, It would be time to become Hugh from FMA and if it was a boy...I don't know honestly.

 

I want a girl so that we can have fun bonding over sports, shopping, and other everyday things. My aunt has two boys and every time she sees her nieces her eyes light up. I would love one girl and one boy but I could live with one girl. Being a single child is a unique experience but I would want more than one kid.

I've learned and have sort of raised both girl and boy. There's little difference between them at least until they hit puberty and picking up each of their kinds of rebellious age act's in which on that moment onwards your girls would worry you much more than boys except both needed just as much attention and care.
Two type i encounter which quiet boy and noisy girl. You'd want your child well behaved quiet type but do understand that these quiet type children is the one much more troublesome to raise in particular because they're not expressive when in trouble.
Anyway that noisy girl right now would be the kind of girl that raised her middle fingers when you turned around and stick her tongue at you. Not nice.

So yes just have them picking up your good habit's along as they growing up.

 

A girl, so I can watch joy-filled Barbie films and kid's anime with someone else~! Plus all the excitement of dressing them up and buying them nice things to wear.

A boy would be fine too, if they don't mind doing all that anyway.

 

dear god if i have a daughter in the current form for the world she will grow up with a toxic idea of what empowerment is regardless of how well i parent and by 20 will be depressed and blaming all her shortcomings on others

 

I would want my son to be the gender of my first child, mainly due to the fact that women seem complicated, and I actually wanna pass down my gaming skills onto someone. O.O

Does adoption count? I mean if I had a significant other, I would adopt a child rather than make love with my wife to have a child. Yes, I would allow her to be my wife but in return, she should have her passionate visits with other men or women anywhere else other than the house. No, I would not adopt or take care of her child if she's pregnant, because I definitely know since I will never make love to her. To specify, I want to experience what is to have a family - being a parent; having a wife and child (testing), but to truly not be a family since I don't plan to be a real father, marrying and loving a real woman, and a having a child with my blood. Responsibility is a burden too great for me. The burden I dare to bear is one with utmost suffering yet glorification!

Obviously you can adopt a kid.
But your reasoning is kinda awkward, even if you adopt a child you'd have to bear his responsibility, so idk what to say.

I pick boy than a girl. A girl can make you homeless by being a btch while a guy just needs three things food, games and advices on how to get laid. Maybe 4 if he's a delinquent and need a bat for that.

Girls are high-end costly materials which needed to buy clothes(expensive ones), make-up, how to beat up rapist, pedophiles and boyfriends, a chance they might become sluts and having to prepare so many things....

Only to be cute and pretty? No thanks, i rather have a child whose obssessed with 2D girls and would earn his money without having to resort to being a sexual object.
