So i remember the mc will have to climb stairs to access the next level of his cultivation (he does it at the same time as his enemy) but he decides to jump off and therefore to abandon this cultivation system. He is looking for a new one with using his sword or saber I can no longer remember. Later he go in a carriage with swords or sabers around him and he gets stronger take the position of better swordsman or something. If you have any info.
If I remember this novel well and that I do not confuse it with another. I believe Mc comes from a lower or mortal world and goes to a higher world. In the mortal realm he understood thunder with a statue and later in the upper world he will enter a forbidden land with fog and find a talisman that contains a will of an elder who practiced thunder.
