In this novel MC lives in a village and is either a goblin or a human that is in war against goblins. I think MC is a spearman in the army and at some point he crosses a bridge which has an ambush. Sometime later he crosses a river with one or two people to get quickly to some place where enemies are heading (with few other people and maybe horses too). Technology in this world is not advanced but there *might* be magic. MC could be a transmigrator. I have a hunch that this is probably not a Chinese but Korean or Japanese novel. These things happen in first ~50 chapters.
