c1: How did that teacher expect them to properly meditate if she kept yelling at them? Does she not understand how meditation works? If I'm understanding his base ability correctly, couldn't he also be a weapons designer? The amount of glory from being the only gear maker than anyone of note is willing to trust with their lives is quite extreme. The money is also fantastic and its a fairly safe occupation so long as you take sufficient precautions against being kidnapped or something. Why does his combat score suck so much? If he's trying at all, it should be at least a 1. And with it being 0, what makes him think he can raise it to 400? The 200 in theory is at least reasonable, but the rest is a pipe dream. On that note, what university wouldn't want someone with a 180 in theory? Even if he can't be a front line fighter, he should be able to become an excellent teacher. And excellent teachers are much harder to find than good fighters. c2:How does a speedster get hit by a motorcycle? Unless he was too injured to use his ability anymore? But then how could he be well enough to survive the crash and start moving around immediately? So why couldn't he just report it to the police? Yeah, the dead guy was decomposed, but the thief still had the decomposing liquid on him, the gun that an honor student like the MC wouldn't have a way of obtaining and at least dozens of stolen phones, purses, etc to incriminate him. Unless someone bribed the legal system to persecute him, there's no reason to think that he wouldn't be treated like a hero for taking out a dangerous serial killer. Also, fingerprint awareness doesn't require a theory score of 180. I doubt it requires one of 40. c3: If his ability is acknowledged as first rate, and he has a knowledge score of 180, why wouldn't people be knocking down his door to recruit him? Information specialists are far more valuable than fighters. A good information specialist can raise the effective power of a nation far more easily and thoroughly than a fighter. It occurs to me that a more perverted MC would have had other uses for this ability... c4: It would have been nice if he fainted after copying her ability. If there's no cost to it, then his ability is too OP to be interesting. Hopefully he's smart enough to not grow too fast. If he suddenly beats up that bully or skyrockets to rank 10 or whatever, the shockwaves should be enough for the owners of that card to find him. c5: If he had a combat value of 0, that should mean that his stamina, agility, strength and reaction speed were pure garbage. That being the case, how is he able to even perform the moves, much less practice them to perfection? His body simply wouldn't be able to move like that without at least weeks of practice. How are high scores even special when he knows 3 people who are at or near 9? Its not like he's attending a school for geniuses after all. That #1 school should be overflowing with applicants if getting high scores is so easy. Also, wasn't the average score for combat methods between 1 and 5? Why was it so low when you only needed to master basic fighting to get a 50? Anyone who's been training all their life (as all these kids should have been) should be able to manage that much by the time they enter high school. c6: I hope that he gets his ass handed to him in the future for disabling himself at the start of the fight while trying to steal skills. @Shio can you please link this to the series page?
