Depends on what you mean by "romance". The MC gets into a stable, long-term relationship with a girl. But the author doesn't really go for describing many romantic gestures or words. This story is mostly about the music. Even the most "romantic" actions the MC takes involves writing music for his girl. It's a comfortable old-married-couple kind of style rather than a thrilling-sweep-you-off-your-feet kind of style.
