    So i was reading some CN Novel, and it was talking about a "gong" and when I googled it to come up with what it means, it only showed the instrument. So I reverted to here to figure out, what the hell a gong is.
    He became an instant success after acting in a small scale danmei web series, due to his tall and handsome stature, he played the role of the ‘gong’ in the danmei drama.

    Gong is a musical instrument that my grandfather owns. I refuse to believe there's another meaning for it.

    Gong is the one who tops in BL/ Danmei (BL Novels). It's the Chinese slang for "seme".

    What is seme?
    But I hate these tropes. Even though I like top x bottom BL more than riba but the specific tropes attached to them isn't fair.
