Basically I got a desktop for Repair, and it's a AM4 build. I should be some thing from 1400 to 1600x. I'm too tired to open this up and check today. I'll just do it tomorrow, maybe I can test a bit of memories overclocking if his motherboards broke, and change it to an B450. as everyone knows A320 can't really get ram to high-clocks. This should stay with me for a few weeks or month or so. Well It's a Ryzen CPU. Edits: @runsing and @Tony can't your do some thing about this Image file size? i'm having difficultive uploading a 2MB image files. really it would be a lot better with 8MB of image upload size.
Just a shit post that i got my self a ryzen PC for testings and things as I don't really like Ryzen, As some one who suffers from bulldozer in 2011.
Depending on the manufacturer, and the revision you have, it might not go very high. I have 1600 and my RAM can only go up to 2666. Any higher and my computer will start getting random crashes. I haven't been updating BIOS since last year tho. Cpu: ryzen 1600 Mobo: Gigabyte ab350 (gaming 3 i think) Forgot my ram....lol Edit: didn't see you thinking on using b450. Should have no problems i think
It should be about over 15 years, as I remember 10 years ago, black color case is more popular. The PSU is about 10 years from what I heard. so I bought a Sama forza gold without even thinking. It have to be changed without thinking, the parts inside must have rusted. The PC wasn't mine, I'm just a repair man. But as some one who repairs PC, I don't came across Ryzens often. Might do some test with Ram overclocking with it. But pretty sure the owner will kill me if I brought a B450 Itx to replace it if motherboard broke.
8MB for picture of ryzen on an asus a320m and what looks like a mismatched ram sticks, in a 15 year+ old casing? no thanks. even 1 MB is already excessive from my pov. but i'll commend for using LG drives. those things will read and copy even scratched disc no other brands would. i'll only tolerate highres, large file size for beautiful *lewd or *leg images, thank you very much *non-male, human only on a more serious note, a lot of people browse the forum with their phones, in other words, using mobile data, that's why large, or several images in a single post should be put under spoiler
First-gen Ryzen sucks to OC. It's virtually impossible to get one past 4.2 GHz. The memory controller sucks. Overall, they're frustrating to OC. They basically all OC the same. Kind of the same issue with Ryzen 3000 when it comes to overclocking the CPU. Most of the time, you get better performance if you just leave the OC settings on auto. Memory OCing is fun with Ryzen 3000, at least.
