    I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the relationships here.

    GGP is listed as translating BTTH, but doesn't host it on his own site and instead hosts it on WW who seems to be in a massive conflict with the new majority owner of GGP's own site.

    If this is the case how can GGP claim that what he has done is in the best interest of translators, readers, and/or himself if he won't even host his own works there?

    Makes no sense to me.

    hosting it on WW was decided a long time ago. It has nothing to do with what's going on now. >_> Nice try.

    I'll clarify a little about BTTH. The current translator isn't GGP (hasn't been for over a year). It's aaron. He doesn't really interact with the community. So I don't think GGP can remove BTTH from WW even if he wanted to. He could probably remove chapters that were his, but not aaron's work.

    To clarify my point.

    I just found it extremely odd as a self-employed business-person myself that someone would create content that they also had a platform for, but decide not to use their own platform (Especially after selling a majority of the platform to the original publisher of the work that you used to create the content you were hosting elsewhere) for the following reasons.

    #1.) The original rights holder is letting you continue hosting it at a location they are in a legal battle with? (seems VERY odd to me)

    #2.) Content was created that could bring revenue to you, but you don't do so and instead allow the revenue to go elsewhere? (That would be like me selling real estate, but allowing someone else to take the commission. NOT LIKELY!!)

    3.) The continued and consistent "Ad" included in the notice of every new chapter posting up to and including the latest posting talking about the translators website "Gravity Tales"

    None of this makes any sense from my viewpoint and I was wondering if I had missed something in the various interactions?

    Thanks Parth for at least a partial explanation re: the change in main translator.

    1) WW holds the license for BTTH. QI has no choice.

    2)As just the editor, GGP wouldn't really have a say over it's hosting location even if it wasn't for 1)

    3)It's cross site promotion, which is very common between sister sites, even if not jointly owned. WW has a larger readership base that GT, meaning having a novel hosted there that plug GT brings more readership.

    BTTH has been on WW for hundreds of chapters. The GT sale is recent.

    Plus i'm pretty sure the new owner directly benefits from the cross promotion... so why would QI want it to stop?

    Wait... so the exodus from gravity tales was because they sold out to QI and were trying to force a malicious contract on their translators?

    Wow, they milked a lot of pity from their readership during the exodus by heavily implying that the reason is that they are the only site who failed to get a licensing agreement with Qi, and thus people were running away to WW because they were afraid of getting DMCA or sued etc for copyright violation. And the GT were trying but QI was being difficult while freely making deals with WW and the others for giving them license to translate and host stuff on their own.

    I am amazed that reality turned out to be the exact opposite

    About btth i think long long l9ng ago he m9ve it from gt to ww(if i am not wrong) cause ww have better tranfic then gt its simple he need it back then gt dont have much
