.......... not because of that. we don't know yet. all speculations. but its *personal reasons* stated by GGP(owner of gravity tales).
GT doesn't have Licenses for the novels from qidian so they left to ww and volare
Ahh.. Thanks guys
and some went to Volare...
Rainbow Turtle's explanation on GravityTales.
I know the topic itself is not as simple as it seems and that multible people parties involved are to blame including gravity itself if what's said in the new terms is true but it still leaves a really bitter taste in my mouth how a popular site with tons of great novels suddenly got ripped off so many of its novels without any discutions with goodguyperson.
This is conpiracy theories ....
Quite sure they had stated that it has nothing to do with Qidian International, I mean if it did then there would be no translators going to Volare if their only aim was to legally translate novels.
Just to clarify: this says it is NOT Qidian or money or stuff like that.
It is for personal objection to some sort of change coming to GT is what seems to be up.
Don't state speculation as fact. Things are bad enough as is.
TL;DR: Personal objection to GT change. No other specifics.
Honestly find it all a little regretful. Gravity Tales for me is one of the best site I read on. It has/had a lot of novels I enjoyed, but it also scaled well for me who has my PC plugged into the TV at the other end of the room. So I could always zoom to a comfortable level to read without the site breaking or needing the scroll left and right, the navigation all worked, even white-listing the site in my ad-blocker wasn't an issue. The experience was just as pleasant on mobile as it was on PC. Quality of the translations ignoring my ignorance in accuracy of said translations was always amongst the best. Easy to read, little to no mistakes, odd one that did crop up usually didn't affect my read speed and ability to understand what was happening, so a good experience for the reader.
From a readers/leachers perspective Gravity Tales is a good enough site that I wish many others would emulate it (I'd even go as far as wishing all of them did). Some sites fail on a lot issues, even from as simple as the translation itself, readability of the translation ( i.e makes little sense in English, and hard to work out whats going on and who said what etc), poor layout, harmful ads, recent addition of anti-ad-block (ironically located on sites with harmful ads, and/or lower quality releases from what I've seen so far) and a few with annoying server issues though I assume this annoys them as much as it annoys us readers. Well its up to the translators themselves but the series on Gravity Tales have one of the best (most frequent) release rates, many daily and others a couple a week. Few series get the same love and attention regrettably.
Gravity Tales was easily my single most visited site during the past 12 months or so, as well if not the best experience definitely within the top 3. I hope the issues are overcome, and that Gravity Tales can continue to be at the forefront of the translation community. Well that's just my selfish wish that I hope to see come true in the not to distant future.
Internal change that some translators are not comfortable with...
some translators are staying so they must be okay with this internal change
