GravityTales currently have these English Originals:

    A Dragon's Curiosity
    Blue Phoenix
    The Ancient's Son
    The Beginning After the End
    The Divine Elements

which other good ones should GravityTales try to recruit? Originals that readers of GravityTales will likely enjoy?

Look like GravityTales is offering a "contract." Would love to see the details but I know it is not possible. Ad money and maybe a monthly stipend?

    http://royalroadl.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=58927

(TL;DR The contract that I've decided to go through with by joining Gravity is not uploading on any other sites, which is here and my site tbatenovel.com included)

What is in it for the original authors?

Bigger audience bring in more donations, more monthly money from Patreon, higher ebook sales and reviews on day 1 which would kickstart the novel ranking on Amazon. This high ranking allows discovery from Amazon ebook buyers, also-bought recommendations and the famous ebook algorithm to kick in.

Example of how some web writers are using Patreon:

I don't know man but I think it will be difficult. Its true you'll gain more readers fast but Gravity also has particular taste. You will have to be lucky.
If only there was a site Syosetu but for us English writers. (Its the Japanese WebNovel site)
Imagine if we had a English Wn hosting too... But it would be difficult for the site to survive with no income. Maintaining a website is expensive after all

Good luck to original creators I guess...
But i don't know why a sometimes a single person would sponsor a original story chapter for a huge 60$... Guess they like it that much...

I like good stories so it don't really matter if they are original or translated

This is probably the best move for him financially. If you looks at his stats on Amazon and reviews on Amazon, he's probably only making less than a quarter of the sales he could because he's asking a pretty high price for his page count. Personally, I would never touch his, the same for a number of others, because they want so much and are offering so little for it.

There is a golden rule for novel or manga writer from bakuman. " If your story interesting, than it will popular".

You make a lot of assumptions in this post and I'm doubtful of the accuracy of your claims. Monthly stipend? bought recommendations on amazon? I can assure you that you are completely wrong on those matters. More audience doesnt mean more donations or monthly patron money. Both have different criteria of success, and most of it depends on the actual story itself rather than the audience. Other factors are how long the author has been writing, consistency, chapter lengths, chapter count, quality, grammar, uniqueness, etc and I could go on forever.

Things are not so simple as you seem to have put them down on this post. You dont magically make hundreds of dollars on patreon with a large audience or climb to the top rankings of amazon.

At this point I'm too tired to ask why all of your thread always have '$60/ chapter' line

For 60$ I could buy 10 - 15 books on my kindle. Each would have 250 - 450 odd pages and they would have been properly proofread and edited.

For an original story chapter I would say 20$ at the most. I was thinking 5$ but I added 15$ as the author would get flooded with sponsored chapters. Regardless of how interesting it is, 60$ is too much.

People would pay big $ for entertainment. If they love the story even if its 100$ per chapter, they would pay for it.
If you cant afford it then just dont pay for it. It's not even compulsory.
