@UnknownSaint171 what? you expected him to be Lucifer on chapter 1? its an escalation process. Its subtle right now but his personality is getting darker as he advances on his cultivation [not necromancy mage] but we have seen cases where if backed into a corner the demon seed takes over.
Why couldn't he just send the skeleton in to get the fruits? Its very fast, immune to poisons and, since its not alive, the plants might not even attack it. Plus, even if it gets attacked by something that it can't fight or gets stuck in the swamp, he can just de-summon and re-summon it. The plants' normal methods of killing should only be able to trap it without doing any real damage, so there's no reason to think this wouldn't work. How could a hang glider pass through all those plants? If its not passing through them, but going above them, how could he reach the fruit? Is he planning to use the sword? If so, then why does he even need the hang glider? Why not just send the sword from where he is? Or is the radius of control for the sword significantly lower than the radius of control for the demons?
I don't think its important enough for him to throw his life away over it though, especially when he's already reached his goal and he doesn't really need them anymore.
Can't help but think that its his own fault for not paying attention. He knows where he is and the sort of people and creatures that are in that area. Not paying attention is basically the same as asking to die.
I hope this doesn't become a thing. Berserkers are only interesting in the short term, especially when he could have killed them all quite easily by summoning his skeleton and fighting slightly more intelligently. Honestly, this current dire situation is just the consequence of repeatedly making bad decisions, so if he doesn't start using his brain again soon, I'll probably lose all interest in this series.
I was wondering if he'd get revenge before leaving the forest or if he would have to wait till later. How silly of me I wonder if he'll wind up fighting these guys a lot though. They were given a bit too much of an introduction to be a one-time deal.
I wonder if he'll keep the grand magus' items for himself or come up with an excuse to gift them to Fanny? Assuming there's nothing on them that would identify their previous owner of course. Also wondering if he'll use his merchant connections to process the trolls' haul.
I was thinking more about the staff and accessories. I doubt there'll be enough left of the robe to be useful
She's seen his face now, why wouldn't he kill her regardless of what she says? Unless he's going to pull a soul binding method out of his a** of course.
I hope he doesn't rape her. Its hard to respect an rapist MC. Though I'm sure he'll "lose control" if he does do it. I wonder if he'll turn her over to the spy organization? If he does, how will he hide his connection to the trolls and his personal teleporter?
