Many people choose what to read by searching specific genres and tags. But, sadly, plenty of novels on NU have only a couple of tags. Is there a novel you like and want to be read by as many people as possible? Add tags! Make life easier for other users! You don't have to go through the whole list - just add as many as you feel like!

please no.

please tag in moderation. for example a sub 10 chapter novels should not be infested with 30+ tags. use common sense. too many tags could also be detrimental when searching for novels to read.

and please do not add Male Protagonist tag to BL novels, as well as Female Protagonist to GLs

 

Please keep the number of tags on novels limited to only things that are actually meaningful to the story itself.

Don't put the Dragons tag on a novel that only mentions that dragons exist, or that there is one fight against one dragon one time and it's not even that relevant... Try leaving the Dragons tag to stories with meaningful dragons.

 

Actually, I prefer having many tags for entries, as descriptions for CN novels are usually copy-paste-translated from Chinese webnovel sites, therefore shit, and don't tell you anything about the setting, characters, the plot, what to expect from the story etc.
So having a vast array of tags is a proxy of a sort for a meaningful description.
