This is a book club for non-fiction books. We'll recommend books of Non fiction for each other to read, discuss them, review and criticise. The recommended books must follow a few set of strict criteria: They must not require any specialist knowledge to comprehend. A competent High School graduate should be able to appreciate the works and benefit from it. The recommender must have an eBook of the book, that they are willing — and able — to share. The kind of books you would get as Textbooks are not the books were looking for. So don't for example recommend Concrete Mathematics or The Art of Computer Programming. Certain textbooks would be allowed if they are comprehensible with the high school inventory, and are judged as classics. My aim for this group is for the members to circulate among themselves life changing and empowering books. I think I'll set up a Discord server for this group as well. Download links to the PDF would be traded via Discord.
I think going to a library is enough for me....for a while at least. I'll let you know when I want to do voluntary home work.
I'm in, sadly the only non-fiction I've read are textbooks and dummies guides (and those things are magical)
are all members obliged to share a book? i mean, i do like to read, but i dont have that many e-book available, and most books that i've read are in my local language, and a few popular title, and by popular, i mean LoTR, Dan Brown's, HP, and something like that.
