It's painful reading his reddit posts. It's like I'm going through puberty again.
Yeah, I mean that's a good deal of the reason that I've been taking the stance I have.
I'll cast shade when I see it, but sometimes the truth is just that one person is rather immature, rather than their being a grander conspiracy.
Well that's the thing. In this kind of environment, we expect someone like him to be mature, at least some semblance of maturity.
His lack of maturity is so astonishing that it makes the majority of us question whether GGP influenced him or not.
Bullshit that he doesn't care in fact the quote you put is at odds with who he directed his anger at.
Like I already said.. his making 17k the problem is a misapprehension (a false belief) on his part. The fault is ENTIRELY on GT for his problems yet he lays it at the feet of 17k.
That's his problem that he road a shitty ship and doesn't know how business is done. Will he be able to translate a non Qidian novel on GT.. more likely no he won't.
However, like I said before his "He doesn't care to understand" is bullshit because like you said.. in his view (his understanding of the situation) is that it is the fault of 17k, however, it is NOT the fault of 17k. It is the fault of GT.
The sceme so strong on that one
You know, quite often, people will place their anger not at whom it should be pointed at, but only at what they perceive they should.
You've read my posts. You should understand that I completely agree that's it GT's fault that this is happening.
He blames 17k because he sees GT as working in his interest, and 17k as working against.
That's the mindset he's acting with. It doesn't matter that a closer look will show that's foolish and wrong headed, as it's GT's actions that's caused this issue.
To him, it's only 17k that's caused him this problem.
The thing is someone pointed the fingers towards 17k to him which is why hes venting his frustrations at them. IIRC the Zhan Long announcement stated that they won't be able to to get the license for it due to being owned by Qidian which was taken down. His post remains up so he's been set up as cannon fodder yet he himself doesn't even realize it.
Oh, I'm very sure he's aware of it, but he probably "doesn't give a fuck."
Good we are in agreement.
Indeed.. to him, his misconception, it's 17k. Like I was pointing out the entire time was that Pipi's actions and words did not reflect one another.. he says he doesn't care as long as he translates.. then trashes the company that holds the license to something he is translating because of something the website he is affiliated with did.
The problem I have with this conspiracy theory is that no one benefits.
Pipi's post hurts GT. It damages their image, and it damages their relationship with 17k, as well as with other publishers.
There is also no benefit in having Pipi as a scapegoat. Any potential conflicts are with GT directly.
so, I just read a comment on Release that witch translations saying that Zhan Long was removed, and when I looked it up, it was true. Anyone know why this happened? Also while I'm at it, would LMS be removed after what's it's name told Rainbowturtle to stop translating?
Gravity was bought up by Qidian but Zhan Long and a couple of other novels belong to 17k.
this is already talked about on the threads regarding GT and QI.
it is a result of GT being owned by QI
It's about publishers and....
Why would lms be removed its not like nu is the one translating it, its just linking
It happened like this
Long answer: you will find the answer in here ...
Shorter version: Qidian International ... GravityTales won't host unlicensed novels from other publishers for the moment ...
I think this is already talked about on the threads regarding GT and QI.
GT was actually Qidian all along.
GT couldn't keep up their facade any more
GT start to purge non-Qidian novels since their masks were reveal.
^ Summary of what happen to Zhan Long, and other novels that aren't from Qidian that are still in GT currently in the future.
