    I'm looking for any novels where the mc has pet reptiles (preferably snakes )that are front and centre in the novel and don't disappear for long periods of time

    They aren't rare in Florida. there was a canal next to my school and they were right next to it and I just caught a baby one and took it home. I already had a fish tank that was not in use cause all the fish died.
