Seriously dude, you came in like you got a grudge against anyone that wasn't you. You just came out blasting at random people because "u give bad 1 star review" when the person you are shooting at is most likely NOT the person that gave your favourite novel a bad review, you're just taking out your mad on random people. That is a no-go.

Not too forget you said you read everything and then said you don't read the vast majority of novels on this site.

 

So looking at the reviews of that guy let’s talk real here do u or do u not see him giving novels a bad review cause of their romance it isn’t about me that’s the problem it seems u can’t understand it’s about the translators and the authors

 

Romance is a part of the story that should be judged just because you ignore it doesn't mean it isn't potentially the most important aspect of a novel. Besides I don't review bad novels I drop them.

 

The only harem I hate is a female MC harem, don't mind the rest

basically it's just not satisfying... if i read an adventure novel i want adventure maybe with a bit of romance on the side

the problem with harems is that any meaningful interactions with multiple wives will dilute the story with useless fluff.
the occasional chapter of fluff and love with 1 woman is fine but.. with many women the difference is massive.

so im not against it, but normally i'd read something with 1-2 wives/lovers...
anymore and the interactions become tedious or they have no meaning at all and the women are basically blowup dolls...

unless im literally just reading hentai or something... in which case im clearly not there for a good story....

i'd only want a harem if the girls were interesting and complex and that they actually, properly got along and managed the complexities of a harem relationship. even though, i wouldnt want more than 4-6 max (1 a day with a rest day/group day).

the problem with harem novels is they're mostly poorly written

 

Personally, I dislike harem because the characters are so superficial. It feels like they're just added there to be a love subject for the MC, there is little to no depth in their personality other than being super annoying.

 

Did you really think I exist to obey you? Besides if the romance isn't really important to the story that is a bad thing because if it isn't adding anything than it is taking away.

 

Yeah, I don't those kind of books and there are tons that do a way better job. It's not what I can for Japanese web novels though. There, the characterization is often just a character archetype, an appearance, a few quirks and that's about it. Some readers might be fine with that but I think it's complete junk.

I don't truly like nor dislike harem. The issue I have with it is that 99% of them are focused on satisfying a loser's fantasy rather than the plot.

 

Does it count as a harem if hypothetically i own 15 real dolls and paid some hookers to add recorded voice lines for each? Im asking for a friend....
