Yeah, people please discuss it so I know what things happened in the novel. I didnt read it coz you know, Harry Potter. I Find them too gay.

I didn't and will not read it .
It's the first time I saw a novel with adds from the first chapter.
Even Qidian aren't that shameless.

 

It's a CN novel + Harry Potter parody =

 

I won't be able to read it either, as a long-time fan of Harry Potter, I always strayed from fan stories, doushinji and other derivatives works that weren't J.K. Rowling approved. I'd rather read about people talking about it then reading/watching myself. I enjoy video parodies, plays or costumes but reading a story ? No.

 

The add-links aren't really a problem it's just a 5s wait and with add block it's a 10s wait
The translation is good no atrocious spelling and grammar mistakes
It's still a bit early to comment on the story but the beginning isn't bad and is quit a good read

 

Yeah, except when the ad takes 5 seconds to properly load on your ipad, then takes 8 seconds for the timer and after clicking the button to go on takes another few seconds.
At which point on a small screen you end up misclicking, where the whole page goes to the ad instead and going back you'll have to re-watch the entire thing again.

Not to mention if the page crashes (which it does a lot after infini-scroll) you'll have to re-watch it. If you've skipped the ad with 'spirit stones' and it crashes or you reload? you will have to pay again or watch the ad as it locks again.

Haven't read this specific novel but when you say translation is good, on a sub-par highly unvalued novel on Qidian i have to question your standards. Unless one of the few quality translators they have is translating that story out of the nostalgia related with the series, at which point you wouldn't want to see it butchered by some random CN author.

But nice try Qidian, you almost had me for a ... 30 sec.... no wait, another 30....Qidian second there, the new measurement since Microsoft Minutes while installing XP!

It's decent early on, the overall plot seems interesting but, it drags on forever and inconsistencies start piling up. It doesn't help that at parts there are entire chapters of exposition to explain his reasoning about backstories that don't matter

 

Ah this is one is, author qidian but they put it on an alternate website. I'm wondering if it's to avoid more copyright issues like IRAS. At least this ad is more stable (still 10+ seconds per short chapter, every chapter).

well yeah the adds are still somewhat annoying but at least I can addblock past them and I will probably be pretty annoyed at them when i save up some chapters to binge read. What i meant to say the adds don't annoy me yet because it's only been 7 chapters

 

I like this kind of parody very much is always fun seeing the "courting death people" reacting on histories like that

 

You either join a sect and find some backing or get eaten up by those that do! Speaking of which, is Hogwartz or whatever the school is called a sect in this novel? lol.
