But I know someone who I'm pretty sure manuvers themself to always look like justice is on their side, or that they are the victim, and makes out the other side to be bad and spreads this idea around as gossip. Whenever confronted with facts, only denial awaits. Whenever trying to ask the truth for even inconsequential things that don't matter a bit, they avoid telling the truth as much as possible if they believe it will damage their image even slightly (like a '0.5 out of 100' level of slightly). The problem is that they are very good at what they do and so if they've filled someone's ears with their not-quite-lies / reinterpretations of events, then that person will think of you as an enemy and won't bother to listen to anything you say. Even worse is that they aren't doing this to hurt anyone, they are manuvering to protect their own self-image of being 'just' and 'good' in all situations. So their pushing other people down and creating fights is more of a side effect than an intention. Even worse is that because of this, no matter what they say or do, I always have to wonder if they really mean it or if it's more manuvering. And that I had seen hints beforehand, but didn't realize the full extent of how they operate until they started targeting people I care about.

You know in chinese lit. the GTB is always shown to be sweet on the outside but cunning and manipulative and can bring the worst in the previous dumb loud cannon fodder who was replaced by the almighty heroine. But the truth is I've always had more problems with the loud people who can also stab you in the front , back and sides too! I have had to deal with controlling loud people of which the only outcome for a person was to agree with them , and act as nicely as possible. Honestly I pity anyone who has to hide their feelings to live with someone they dislike . Although I don't pity backstabbing.

But anecdotally yes, the China Chinese women I've met and dated do tend to be more calculative, and they are justified to do so. So when these women decide to look for better, more successful partners, would the disappointed/sour-grapes men they dumped start unfairly labeling these women as GTB? Yea I can see that happening too. But again, it still fits the narrow definition of "two-faced gold digger".
Nah, not where I'm from. The pure, naive and simple girls aren't that popular. Sexy, naughty, 'that bitch' girls are popular. So gold diggers here won't pretend they're pure innocent virgins. They'll spend time and money on their looks and successfully hook up with the rich guys (don't have anything nice to say about those guys either...mostly gangsters or bored middle-aged businessmen).
