Hosoya,producer of OPM S2 allegedly removed from various anime production teams due to disrespectfulness toward ONE and their other work, Mob Psycho. Murata: "arrogance came from the bias of knowledge."

Some background on this guy and the situation based on these 5ch posts:

• Hosoya is a known scum in the industry, only has his job due to nepotism (powerful family). He is backed by the head of TV Tokyo's animation department Yukio Kawasaki
  
  
• Tried to #metoo a voice actress while working on Kemono Friends, got sacked from studio Yaoyorozu by Keisuke Fukuhara, made a troll Twitter account to crap on the entire production staff
  
  
• Several other rumored instances of power abuse and crapping on fans on social media
  
  
• Talked shit about Mob Psycho 100 during a OPM production meeting because apparently he didn't know ONE created both. Murata was present. (anons are saying this is like shitting on Saitama in front of Genos xD) Was immediately removed from OPM production. He wasn't doing much on OPM prior to this, would use "I'm too busy" as excuse to let others handle most of his work
  
  
• Has been transferred to the business development department, which is still managed by Yukio Kawasaki, his backer at TV Tokyo
  
  
• Anon who posted the OPM stuff claims he's just talking in his sleep, but people looked up Murata's tweets on the same day, and he said "I think all arrogance comes from the bias of knowledge", and "since when did 'not knowing what others are doing' equal 'others can do whatever they please'?" which kinda confirms what anon said
  

This guy truly deserves to be fired and so what is everyone's thoughts on this.

 

Or talking shit about Reigen Arataka in front of Mob.

 

So is it his fault OPM looks awful or is that still the studio fault?

Nope it is just that this guy is our normal young master who is an idiot with good backing. He was working for OPM S2 but during the interview he trashed about Mob psycho 100 without even knowing that this is also the work of the author ONE who is the author of OPM and so he got fired and trashed on the internet.
The fun part here is that at that time MURATA was also present who is his boss lol basically he was also cursing at his boss in front of him

This thread is like a big toilet bowl that has 4 butts but 3 anus that keeps on shitting without stopping..

 

I'm not against the sharing of news however, I don't think this qualifies as "news" - its rumours. I can't find any actual links to proof of any of these allegations on the entire thread.

I don't know this person but, I have seen his work so the least I could do for someone who contributed to making stuff I enjoy is do a quick google search for a respected source before condemning him.

We live in a time where people rally behind strong convictions that aren't backed up by any facts. This rumour could (and probably has) already lead to people harassing him when he may not even have done anything wrong.

Right now I could type

"I was a former intern at his office and one of the younger female interns left because of him. I never got a chance to ask her why but, I think it was pretty bad stuff because HR interviewed a few of us later. I changed jobs shortly after. It's good to see people are finally speaking up. I regret not saying anything at the time."

And unfortunately, most people would take that story as fact and run with it though I've never even been to Japan.

It's only a rumour until evidence surfaces. It's best to suspend judgement until then lest we become part of the mob (pun +1) that hurts an innocent person for no reason at all.

Haven't we watched/ read enough anime and manga to have seen false accusations fuck up a characters life? People always say "I'm better than that" but, most people aren't. Stop spreading rumours. Try and find more evidence if you care that much if you don't then just read the rumours without spreading them and go on about your business.
