    If you don't already know, Kazanami Shinogi is the author of The New Gate. From what has been translated so far, i'm really enjoying his style of writing. It has become one of my all time favorite novels. The feels, strong with them is he. lol.

    I'm just curious and wondering if anyone else has read a novel that aroused such profound emotions in themselves.

    The New Gate. I found the beginning a bit slow but other than that I have no major complaints.

    The New Gate is good and has decent translation too.. other title that intrigued me is The Man Picked Up by the God. It has similar "transported to another world" and "OP MC" theme that you would like

    I've read "The man picked up by gods" and while I agree that it has the OP MC and is quite good, I think it's not all that interesting... Before anything even remotely interesting happened I almost fell asleep... twice. It isn't a novel for those that like action, fights and the like.
