Discussion Have you ever encountered something so strange you thought it might be supernatural?

So, have you ever encountered anything in your life that made you think that it could actually be a supernatural event? This can include mild things like coincidences, feelings or dreams.

 

I've yet to even see a flicker of a ghost or anything. People around me tell me all the time that I'm crazy, but I spend quite a bit of effort looking for paranormal occurrences and I've yet to find anything so I'm a bit disappointed...

I think this lends credence to the theory that supernatural phenomenon are just people imagining things.

 

Dreams can be a very disturbing thing. I for example have sometimes these dreams where I am in a certain Situation and somebody says a thing or two that stay in my mind. A random amount of time later I realise the Situation is overall the same; the sentences I remebered suddenly surface once they a said by their respective person.
Of the three times it happened I recall feeling more and more creeped out the ofter it happend.
Just for clarification: its not an entire conversation that appears in my dream, its a part of a conversation with around 2-3 people saying their respective pieces.

Your dreams are like that? I dream about the most unrealistic things...once I dreamed about a city at the bottom the sea made out of cardboard. Didn't question how that worked until I woke up and finished eating breakfast. The situations in my dreams are just not really applicable to real life haha. Most of the time I don't remember them at all though.

 

idk if this counts but for a handful of times, situations that occurred in my dreams actually occurred IRL. just very minor situations like a conversation with a friend, a test announcement (during school years) or someone's reaction to a specific event

though I've read that this is probably because I've experienced something similar before the dream (thus I dreamt it and then had a similar situation after, so a coincidence), but it had me very confused when the exact dream happened IRL

Idiots who thinks the supernatural exists are pretty freaking strange to me

 

I disowned him after he started hiring himself out to tourists for fishing trips.

 

Feels like an alternate Thomas the tank engine to me, just... i personally am just happy that face didn‘t make it onto a show for kids.

i See that the internet and specially Twitter is so full of imbeciles, idiots, and corrupt that i can only blame the supernatural for such BS to be real

 

Well not all are like that, but they certainly are part of the strange ones i remember. Another one would be finding Atlantis on the Moon with another space astronaut, who turned out to be me. It was pretty strange since he was me and I was him at the same time. Despite that we had a fight with all the different martial arts i knew. I think it ended with me getting a sword through the chest and waking up with a rapid beating heart.

I used keep a dream diary to try and control my dreams. Lucid dreaming it was called. I stopped after a month without any progress.

Two years later, I watched a movie with my friends and got deja vu which pretty much cemented the memory because I’d turn it over and over to find out why it felt so strange. A few weeks later my mom was talking about some stuff she’d kept and that included the dream diary. One of the entries pretty much described what happened - from the content of the movie to what my friends were talking about. An entire conversation about a romantic scene as well. And I didn’t take part in that particular convo so there’s no way I steered it according to subconscious memories.
