Have you ever had the feeling...

Have you ever had the feeling that you have read all the good wuxia, xuanhuan etc novels and cant find anything else that you think is worth while to read? I think i have reached that barrier.

Except for still reading novels that are still being translated, i havent been able to find a good novel that i can binge read through, or atleast read 300+ chapters before i have to switch to mtl.

Has anyone felt this way? Please comment and if you think you know some good novel names, please comment here. Ill post the list of what i have read so far so theres no repitition.

Or seriously try the 2 yuri masterpieces that i found (completed 100+ chapters) :

Lily Ex-machina (completed): A girl machinist that is paragon (a classification of power user = max) with her power of control (of stuff she touches but considered quite useless), dreams to become popular with her work. One day she decides with her childhoodfriend and the group of mercenaries/adventurers she works with to go to the last lvl discovered in the labyrinth/dungeon that the city manages to find new metals to become popular with the discovery. But in there she will wakes up something terrific. And also discover a robot that will becomes her lover.

 

I read coiling dragon, everyone else is a returnee, and will eternal, but i will check the others out. Thanks.

Like i said i left a lot out. Most of these novels i didnt finish at one point so i made a list and put the chapter that i was at down. After i came back and finished them. Pls tell me the masterpieces if you have any i didnt read i would love to know. I need a masterpiece.

Your long list literally contains average, cheesy and cliché cultivation novels, with a few actually great ones (Cultivation Chat Group, Rakuin, Zhanxian). I Eat Tomatoes, Against The Gods, Peerless Martial God, The Magus Era, ... All run of the mill, nothing special or even downright bad. My suggestions:

Nightfall, The Path Toward Heaven, Chronicles of the Primordial War, Archfiend, Monarch of Evernight, Joy of Life, Divine Throne of Primordial Blood, The Grandmaster Strategist, Forty Milleniums of Cultivation, World of Cultivation.

Unfortunately, the actual great cultivation novels are pretty rare. The best ones often are Wuxia or are mixes with other genres, in my opinion. Pure cultivation novels without another aspect to them often shit the bed. I've got another set of suggestions: ones that would probably make your list, but not mine:

Tempest of the Stellar War, Battle Through The Heavens, God of Slaughter, Red Packet Server, Dragon-Marked War God, Castle of Black Iron, Imperial God Emperor.

If that list should contain all worthwhile cultivation novels, then it's pretty shit. I've read a quarter of those, half of them I've seen but never wanted to start due to awful reviews, and a quarter I don't know because they're Japanese or just have really low average ratings (I don't even have to look up "School beauty Personal Body Guard" to know which category it falls into). I'm not saying you can't like them; I read novels I consider to be bad as well. But telling me your list contains all worthwhile cultivation novels makes me really, really mad. It's a disservice to the authors that actually put in any effort while writing.

 

It's not that you're missing any particular title and more that you don't have any books by Jin Yong, Gu Long, or Huang Yi listed. Of these, Huang Yi is notable for being the writer who coined both the xianxia and xuanhuan terms and Gu Long is one of the writers who put "modern" into modern wuxia. Jin Yong is especially noteworthy as he's literally the most influential writer in modern Chinese literature, and everyone steals ideas from him. Any list of great wuxia novels without any of them on it looks awfully naked.

I'd suggest starting with the Legend of the Condor Heroes though any of Jin Yong's long novels are worth checking out.
