I've caught up! What a ride! I wasn't expecting to enjoy this story so much after reading the first several chapters! All interactions between Xie Lian and Hua Cheng are great. Please flirt some more! I really enjoyed Ghost City, with Hua Cheng acting as a gangsta sugar buddy . Too bad it didn't last long, I'd gladly read more about the city's other tourist hotspots! Wind Master is such a chill dude... On the other hand, Prince Tai Hua is a shounen protagonist who became corrupted - isn't it ironic how he has a speech about never being like XL and staying pure and what not, but then he tortures someone (this fragment was painful to read) for revenge and destroys their body in cold blood. Talk about backtracking on your own words. Qi Rong's antics are epic - he should be the series mascot, honestly. His 'Taunt' level is over 9000! He had spent 800 years leveling up one skill only! What a guy. I also find it cute and amusing how XL is genuinely concerned for Qi Rong and pours his worries before his parents' graves, but the next minute he's beating 'dear cousin' up - what happens in the royal family stays in the royal family!

Did anyone ever make the connection where RuoYe came from? It's the same white silk fabric that his parents used to hang themselves with after the event at the abandoned temple and Feng Xin left him. He also tried to use that to hang himself, however, RouYe already became a spirit and let itself loose from the beam.

Spoiler Jun Wu wanted to train XL into becoming the next him, so like a successor of sorts. He created the identity of BWX to create situations and test XL. Jun Wu was basically just creating all sorts of situations to test XL (BWX being part of the scheme) and see if XL would choose the option that he wanted XL to choose, but no XL was still good ol’ XL which triggered him a lot haha I actually couldn’t remember anything and had to go re-read one of the chapters where JW’s intentions were all explained LOL
