Help Me Help My Brother

Okay. So due to pressure from my little brother, I have come here to beg

So he needs a programmer to help him create a program that will be used on another host site as an embedded function that works on mobile and desktop. Also the program will later be transplanted to be an app later(in years). that works with the embedded version. The language will be either C++, Python or if you have a more suitable language for the job please suggest.
I can't say what the specific details are because that is forbidden.

Compensation can be discussed but in will include company shares and acknowledgement and pay(TBD).

Um... dude thats not a small favor LOL... also for the program to be able to be transplated to be an app years later its... well, it will need to be constantly improved and even maybe program it from cero since Technology will improve who knows how many times in years that even if someone here helped you out make the program it will become not usable in a while

 

This might not be the best place to ask for this. Seeing that you're willing to pay, you should just follow normal channels and hire a professional.

 

There are better places to ask like LLT forum which has a lot of different tech field professionals.

Right. It is the only forum that I am apart of. But I figured it was worth a shot

 

He has tried a meetup events where programmers and people with ideas meet but he has not found anyone to commit

I gave him that answer too and he started with C++. But he still wants the help

 

As other said: Go find a professional. Based on the description, I can say this is definitely going to be time consuming and won't be something that you just whip up in a day or two. And offering company shares is great and all for you guys but from the stand point of the programmer being hired, hard cold cash is more reliable than a "We'll pay you if this turns out to be a hit".
Also we can't suggest a language if we don't know what he wants to do. If you want help with programming, then head to stackoverflow for help and suggestions. This is a novel forum while stackoverflow is a dedicated programming forum so you'll have more luck there. Just don't bother trying to find a programmer there to do the work, they enjoy helping solve problems but not so much when it comes to working long term for free
