    is i5-4690K compatible with motherboard H81M-D ?
    and do i need to format my pc if i change my processor ? or i can just plug and play

    looks like you'd have to update the bios to ensure compatibility.

    and no you don't need to reinstall windows if you change processors...motherboards if you switch from intel to amd or vice versa, you would.
