It IS a poem but it might be an original since it opens with commonly "heard of" martial arts moves which are mostly fictional (which I doubt any ancient poet would have heard about much less write about since fighting was seen as "low brow") then calls it the "Martial Arts Record". My gut call is that it is a fictitious "historical poetic" narrative book invented by the author but I could be wrong since I'm not too well versed in Chinese literature.
百晓生 is a character from Gu Long's Sentimental Swordsman, Ruthless Sword. This particular poem isn't in that book, so it's probably something the author of the book you're translating invented to make it look like it's something native to Gu Long's universe. I can't help you translate it though because translating Chinese poetry is super tricky and I'd just lead you the wrong way.
